After losing the first of a back to back series, Vancouver pleases the home crowd with a shutout victory. After being pulled for letting in 4 goals in under 20 minutes in the first game, Luongo stood on his head to make sure he didn't get benched again.

The first goal of the game was less than 6 minutes in when Henrik Sedin ripped a wrister over Fleury's shoulder from 50 feet out. The rest of the game was back and forth, and a tight defensive battle. In the dying seconds of the third, Pittsburgh gambled and pulled the goalie, but Smolinski managed to take a long feed from Kesler and put it in, sealing the deal.
