Game 4: Edmonton 1 @ San Jose 2 (1OT)

Coach Critter takes his team to the Cup...Again!

Surprisingly someone got sick of Dora the Explorer and assassinated her while she was on stage, so the Stanley Cup Playoffs could resume in San Jose (Actually I think I may have found out why I couldn't host games before).

Thornton would power his way to another goal early in the 1st period. It seemed like he pushed his way through 2 or 3 guys and then deked out Roloson to put the Sharks up 1-0.

The Sharks then tried to play defensive hockey to shutdown the Oilers. But the Oilers would bite back during the PK. Moreau would even up the score on a brilliant short handed goal. After stealing the puck Moreau made his way to the front of the net and fired it passed Nabokov to even the game.

Once again the game would go right to the wire. Neither team was able to score in the 3rd so the game would be going to OT. With the crowd electrified at home, Goc and Grier would get it done. With 15:23 gone in the 1st OT McLaren would carry the puck over the blueline and quickly pass it off to Grier. Grier spotted Goc and headed for the net. After pulling Roloson out of his net, Grier slipped a pass over to Goc for the wide open net! The Sharks would score and end the Series.

So for the second straight year Coach Critter is going to the Cup Final to face the President's Trophy winner. Last year's Finals went the whole 7 games...how will this one play out?? Stay tuned!

Stats:
Edm @ SJ
18 shots 12
38 hits 25

3 Stars:
Nabokov 17 0
Moreau 1 0
Thornton 1 0

Great series (as usual) Tiger! No one is ever declared the clear cut winner when we play.
