Game 2: San Jose 2 @ Edmonton 0

San Jose evens up the series

It seemed that the fans loved the Dora The Explorer so much they decided to put on another weeks show. Unfortunately that ment that the series would be played entirely in Edmonton.

The second game would start off similar to the first game of the series. After the first period there was very little shots and no goals scored. Another defensive battle.

In the second San Jose would finally solve Roloson. In what looked like a set play, Nabokov passed the puck to the blue line for a waiting Mclaren. Mclaren then fired a long pass to a streaking Marleau. With Marleau's speed no one was able to catch him as he went in to give the Sharks the lead.

The third period would have similar play as both teams played a great defensive game, but the Sharks would get the only goal. On the PP Clowe passed a puck from behind the net to Guerin who put it 5-hole.

Stats:
SJ @ Edm
15 shots 22
12 hits 30

3 Stars:
Nabokov 22 1
Marleau 1 0
Guerin 1 0
