Game 2: Dallas @ Tampa Bay

Series Shifts to Tampa

The Lighting were able to get on the board first. When shorthanded, Taylor was sent in all alone. Modan swept for the puck and knocked the puck straight past Turco for the goal. That goal seemed to pump up everyone on the Lightning bench....too bad Denis wasn't sitting on the bench, because moments after Taylor's goal, Modano netted the Stars first goal. It didn't get any better for Denis, when a shot by Riberio hit the crossbar and went off Denis' back and in. The last goal must have put Denis off his game, cause moments later Dallas took the opportunity to take advantage of some sloppy play by Denis. Dallas scored two more goal on what seemed like open nets, since Denis was so out of possition. The score would not change during the 3rd. Dallas would be the team with most shots this time. Denis responded after the game by saying, "This was a horrible game for me. I promise to my team that I will do better next game."
