Turco gets back on his game.
With horrible outings on his last 4 games, Turco finally comes through for coach Critter. Only 4 minutes into the game, everyones favourite player, Mike Ribeiro was able to get an unassisted goal when he put on under the glove of Luongo. The Canucks were able to tie it up when Zubov passed the puck back to Turco, who was not ready for the pass, and Sedin was able to shovel in the loose puck.
It seemed like Dallas was back to their old self. They were able to get three unaswered goal, including one on the powerplay, and they were able to play solid defence without any bad give aways.
It now seemed like Vancouver caught the bug that was plaging the Stars for the last few games, as they seemed disorganized. It was later revealed after the second game that Ribeiro had been coughing in the water bottles of the Canucks.
