Toronto 2 @ Colorado 1 (OT)

The Leafs arrived in Denver Wednesday night to take on coach I Am Canadian and the Avalanche. Andrew Raycroft once again got the start in net for Toronto while Jose Theodore manned the net for Colorado.

The Leafs started out fast, passing well and getting numerous chances on Theodore, only to be foiled by the ex-Hab, who is very familiar with the Leaf shooters. Jeff O'Neill was able to squeak one through Theodore in the first off a nice pass from Mats Sundin to make it 1-0 Toronto.

The second period was a scoreless affair, both teams getting in big hits on rushing forwards.

The Avs came out hard in the third and were rewarded on a beauty from Ian Laperriere that went over Andrew Raycroft's pad as he did the splits. The two teams skated into overtime to play for the extra point, and that's when Kyle Wellwood was able to beat Theodore through the legs on a wraparound to give the Leafs a 2-1 OT road victory.
