NJ 2 - CGY 3
What a game. It both started and ended on a crazy note. 43 seconds in Patrick Elias netted a goal to put NJ up early. Calgary returned the favor with 2 quick goals at the 2:50 and 4:04 marks.
The 2nd period was quiet goal-wise but was filled with a ton of hits and close plays.
Midway through the 3rd NJ tied the game up and the teams skated to overtime.
A late questionable penalty was called against NJ for elbowing. With 26 secs left, Iginla netted a rebound to give Calgary the win. The goal was a netted with mere seconds left in the man-advantage and the game.
A great game for the fans...
