Dallas 3 @ Chicago 2(OT)

The Stars put pressure on, but barely come away with a win.

The first game of the home-and-home was one both teams would like to forget. Chicago would like to forget it since they were outshot 38 to 9, and at most times out played. And Dallas would like to forget it because the frustration of not being able to put the puck in the net continued into Dallas' next few games.

Right from the get go, Dallas was able to put the pressure on only allowing 2 shots against in the first period and 3 in the 2nd. Dallas was able to take a 2-0 lead, but failed to increase that lead when the Bulin Wall robbed then from every angle. The frustration set in as the Hawks were able to get two unanswered goals to tie it up.

Then in overtime a bad give away lead to a wide open net for Modano.

Although they got the win, the Stars began a string of games where they just couldn't pass/hit/shoot/EVERYTHING, lol.
