Carolina 2 @ Dallas 3 (OT)
Dallas battle back yet again for a win.
It was Carolina would would open the score this game when Williams was handed the puck by Zubov. Williams simply put it top shelf to put the Canes up 1-0. With a burst of speed Lindros then drove end to end with some pretty moves to deke out the defenders and then Ward to tie it up 1-1. Carolina then took the lead yet again when Turco passed one off his own defender and into the open net. "I don't know what he was doing, it was a bonehead play", explained Coach Critter.
With the game slipping away, the Stars battle back yet once again. Zubov pinched in and was wide open for a one-timer that got by Ward.
In OT it would be the Stars who prevail once again. Early in the OT Modano was streaking up ice and Lehtinen slid him the puck. Once the puck touched Modano's stick he was off and no one was going to catch him. With a move right and a move left, Modano was able to fake Ward and put it upstairs for the win.

"A bad vibe?" Clearly... seeing that you find a need to bring this up again,in a public forum, after we had already discussed this post-game. They were only playful slashes after the whistle... nothing but clean play during the game. How virtual hacking in a hockey video game can give a "bad vibe" is beyond me... but whatever. I'll be sure to have fun on my own time and not in "professional" matches. :(
