Dallas enters the playoffs on a high note!

Similar to the first meeting between these two teams, Dallas was able to get on the board early in the game. Dallas then maintained pressure on the flames througout the first period.

It wasn't a very good 1st period for the Flames. They only came away with 1 shot.

Modano then got his second of the game from what first appeared to be a rebound goal, but after the replay, it turned out Kipper just lost control of the puck in his feet after making the save.

Miettinen and Sydor connected for a HON goal, when Miettinen gave a no-look pass from the corner to a pinching Sydor. All Sydor had to do was deflect it in the net, and the Stars were up by 3.

The Stars again proved that you don't have to be a big hitter, you just have to be defensively aware team to prevent goals, with a final hit count of 9 hits against Calgary's 35.

With all their games done, the Stars now wait to see who they will face in the playoffs and if they will be able to keep home ice advantage.
