Toronto 2 @ Dallas 1

The Leafs played Dallas Saturday morning in their 2nd and final game of their season series. Dallas beat Toronto 2-1 earlier Saturday morning to hand them their 3rd loss of the season.

The Stars started quickly at home, with Brendan Morrow scoring on a powerplay at :59 to put Dallas up 1-0. The Leafs were not the same listless team they were back at home, they put a lot of pressure on the Dallas D, and were rewarded with an ugly goal, Mike Peca poked a loose puck under Marty Turco to tie the game at 1-1. Jeff O'Neill beat Turco later in the first with a wrister from the high slot to put the Leafs up 2-1. That was it for the scoring, the final two periods were a defensive affair with the Leafs holding on for their 16th win of the season.
