Toronto 1 @ Montreal 0 (OT)

The 2nd game of the home and home series between the two greatest franchises in the NHL was played out Monday night in Montreal. Both goalies were tested early and often, coming up with big saves, Andrew Raycroft on Saku Koivu in close and Mike Ribeiro, who still obviously can't accept the fact he was traded. At the other end, Cristobal Huet stoned Mats Sundin on a partial breakaway, and Alex Ponikarovsky in close on a nice pass from Bryan McCabe.

The teams skated into overtime in a goalless tie, but Tomas Kaberle finally solved Huet, banging home a loose puck in front that just trickled over the goal line giving the Leafs a split in the home and home. Bryan McCabe and Mats Sundin picked up assists on Kaberle's OT goal.
