Sens awaken after a long serie of defeats
The game started strong with Pittsburg attacking a lot and putting a lot of pressure on Gerber and the Senators. Ottawa responded with a physical match hitting the Penguins whenever they could.
We had to wait until the beginning of the second period for Fisher to score. The same Fisher did it again at the end of the second giving Ottawa the avantage.
The third started with Recchi scoring at 2:55 done in the third. But alas for Pittsburg no other goal found the back of the net and Ottawa won their home match 2-1.
