Ottawa 3 @ Pittsburg 2

Gerber saves the day and the Sens get away with a win

Pittsburg started fast putting lot of pressure on the poor Gerber taking the advantage.
Ottawa was lucky to keep the Penguins at bay and the score 0 - 0 at the end of the first period.

The Sens started badly the second period with a lot of bad penalyties. Crosby found the back of the net at the end of the second giving the penguins the advance 1-0.

The third period started like the second as Ottaw took a lot of penalities. The penguins could never use the advantage on the power play, Ottawa scoring 3 shorthanded goals, Kelly with 2 and Alfredsson finishing the job. Leclair scored a 13:48 of the third giving hope to the Penguins but Ottawa was able the keep their advance and get away with their second victory in a row.
