Montreal 2 @ Colorado 1

The Habs rolled into Denver looking to snap out of a 4 game losing skid. It looked as if the Habs would do just that easily, when Latendresse walked over the blue line early in the first and fired one past Theodore. However, a second goal from Ryder early in the second seemed to awake the Avalanche. They began to pour the pressure right back on the Habs, with Brunette answering shortly after. Huet was able to stand the ground in the 3rd and the Habs celebrated a much needed win.
