Oilers Stop Skid with Sabres

The Edmonton Oilers stopped their five game losing streak with a tough and quite disjointed game against their cross town rivals who happen to play in Buffalo. The Oil started off strong with quick pressure that led to a a Sean Horcoff wrist shot getting by Ryan Miller in the Sabres Net. The Sabres pushed back and were thwarted by a steady Dwayne Roloson who appeared to have his game back after being peppered against the Devils earlier. The new look third line of the Oilers came on and led by Jarrett Stoll was able to find a lose puck in the crease to bang in a 2-0 lead. After the first, the power was once again yanked and pay pal was once again used to get things going. The second period was a lot tighter defensively with neither team giving much of a sniff.
Unfortunately after the second period the power went out again, both management agreed that the cost of restarting the generator was not worth it and the game was deemed complete.

Stats were lost ...
Shots were pretty even I think.
