High flying Stars take on the Young Guns
Modano started it off for the Stars, and continued to have a 3 point night. Modano was sent in all alone and triple deked for a 5-hole goal.
Shortly after Malkin put the fans to their feet with a shot that hit Turco and dribbled down his back and in. The Pens kept the tempo when Ekman was sent in all alone and was able to slide it 5-hole for the goal.
The Stars were able to get three unanswered to take the lead for good. The game winning goal came shortly after Fleury completely robbed Modano on a beautiful deke. The GWG came off the next faceoff when Modano sent it back to the point, and it seemed like Zubov was just trying to get rid of the puck and Fleury let in the soft goal.
Each team was able to get another goal each before the buzzer sounded.
