Dallas 2 @ Buffalo 1 (SO)
This one was a barn burner right to the very last shot.
The goalies stole the show in this one! Miller saved 33 of 34 shots and although Turco didn't see many shots (14), it seemed like all 14 shots were quality chances.
It was a tight match with both teams playing a defencive type game, looking to capitalize on turnovers and oddman rushes.
Just when it looked like the shootout would last forever, Miettinen was able to trickle one in over Miller's glove for the win. Both goalies stopped 3 shooters prior to the goal. Buffalo almost continued the shootout, but just as they were going to put it in the open net, Turco was able to trip up his man and secure the win.
