Colorado 2 @ Pittsburgh 6

Coming off a miraculous comeback in Colorado, the Penguins looked to take that momentum and the energy of the fans and sweep the home and home with the Avalanche.

The first period settled nothing and ended with a tie score of 1-1, full of back and forth plays and penalties from both teams.

In the second, Pittsburgh took control of the game, scoring 3 goals to Colorado's 0 to take a 3-1 lead into the second intermission. A bewildered Avalanche team went into the dressing room after 40 minutes with more questions than answers, and just couldn't figure out the Pittsburgh offense.

The Avs came out of the gate strong in the third, scoring a goal to open the period and cut the lead to 2 goals at 4-2, but that was all they could manage, and they just had to sit and watch as the Penguins scored 2 more goals to take the game 6-2 as the clock winded down in Pittsburgh.

Another great game I am Canadian!

Shots on goal in this contest were 36-23 in favor of the Penguins
