Colorado 2 @ Dallas 3 (OT)
Stars squeak out a win at home.
It was another hard fought battle between these two clubs. Dallas was able to get on the scoreboard early with 2 goals in the 1st period. With Colorado only having like 2 shots in the first period, the Stars let their guard down and Turgeon was able to star the scoring for the Avs. With good defence and amazing play by Theodore, the Avs were able to tie it up halfway through the 3rd.
Only 37 seconds into overtime, Modano shot a wrister top shelf to beat Theo for the win. "We were delighted to come away with 2 points" said Modano, "They played a great defensive game that we weren't able to penetrate".
