Game 2 of the home and home picked up right were it left the ice in Denver. The Habs jumped to an early one goal lead when Theodore could only manage to get a piece of Markov's wrister from the slot. He responded by putting on a display, showing the Habs crowd the Theodore they once loved. However, his teammates seemed uneasy on the Bell Centre ice and never seemed to get much going registering only 9 shots on Huet.
