Chicago 1 @ Toronto 3

This game was highlighted by great goaltending from Andrew Raycroft in the Leaf goal, and a couple big gaffes by Blackhawk Dman Jassen Cullimore.

The Blackhawks outshot the Leafs and carried the play for the majority of the game, but Raycroft and Khabibulin kept it scoreless through 2 periods. Martin Havlat opened the scoring for Chicago early in the 3rd period to make it 1-0. The Leafs pushed hard to get the tying goal, Chad Kilger skated into the zone and took a shot on Khabibulin, and inexplicably Cullimore tried to pass the rebound back to his defence partner, but put it into the vacant cage to tie the game at 1-1.

With the game tied, the Leafs really started to pour on the pressure. With Cullimore in the box for his 2nd penalty of the game, Jeff O'Neill buried a one-time pass from Mats Sundin top corner on the Hawk goalie to put the Leafs up 2-1. Bryan McCabe finished off a beautiful three way passing play to finish off the scoring, Leafs win 3-1.
