New Rivalry Hatches Another Gem
*Since Shuck has had such a miserable week and is behind on the games played, I posted this even though we had 5 minutes left. He did say it was okay to finalize, but if we do get a chance to play later, I wouldn't mind finishing it off*
Last years 2 finalists were at it again trying to beat each other to a pulp in a defensive battle. This one was precipated by a false start and both team replayed the whole game. The first 2 periods were filled with several close chances with no luck on either side. Short handed early in the third, Marty Reasoner banged in a rebound, staking the Oilers to 1-0 lead. First year home town player, Joffrey Lupul added insurance on a slightly nicer goal. Dwayne Roloson continued his stellar play with another shutout of this young GUG season.
