Calgary hit the ice tonight looking to erase the goose-egg in the win column this season. Iginla didn't waste anytime scoring a short handed goal at 6:40 of the 1st period from Tanguay and Ference. Kippy stopped 19 shots to record not only his first win, but also his first shutout of the season.
Flames coach, Bucketo was mic'ed up for the game. Oddly enough when he thought the mic was off after the game, he could be heard saying "Crap, that might be the only win this team pulls off this season." When asked about his coach's comment the next day during practise, Ignila replied, "The coach is a prick, but he's probably right, our team sucks..."
