Coming off a road victory in Calgary, the Penguins looked to use the momentum to sweep the home and home series with a win in the igloo. It was Pittsburgh who would draw first blood in this contest with a first period goal, and they never looked back. It seemed the loud Pittsburgh fans were getting to the Flames during the game, because they couldn't even communicate with each other, which cause them to allow 2 goals in the second, 1 shorthanded. The Penguins also added another shorthanded goal in the third, and Marc-Andre Fleury had another stellar game with 29 saves to backstop the Penguins to a 4-0 win.
